One of the most impressive episodes of the series. When the Glatank finally reaches the Tarthesos kingdom (of which Nadia is the princess), Nadia is possessed by her Blue Water and begins to tell all the truth about her past, about the origins of humans and Atlants... Then she commits suicide because she cannot stand the idea of making her friends suffer because of her... She'll be saved by her own Blue Water, in a scene which reminds much of Laputa's opening scene.

Neo recovers his mind and saves Nadia. Gargoyle avenges by making Neo's mechanical body explode, and he finally kills Jean before being beaten by a Nautilus' laserblast. Then, Nadia unites the two existing Blue Waters (hers and her father's) to have her only wish exauced : making Jean come back to life... The Blue Waters are destroyed, Nemo has to stay behind to help the Nautilus return to Earth (and he loses his life in the operation), and everybody comes back alive.
AD 1902, twelve years later. Electra, true name Medina, had a baby from Nemo. She raises him alone. Grandis never got married. She likes to be seduced by so many people. Erton came back to his noble family in England, and became a true count. Hanson, the mecha specialist, became rich by building a car society. Nadia married Jean and they now live in Le Havre with their son... Samson married Marie and they are soon going to have a baby... Happy end !
